Short on Cinemusings

I realize I’ve been quiet here lately, but I assure you my site is still active. It so happens I am working on a new piece that will be published later this year to coincide with a certain film publication’s poll results (if you know, you know). In the meantime, if you’re looking for more regular cinemusings from me, I recommend heading over to Letterboxd, where I maintain an account to log all the movies I watch, post short-form reviews or reactions, and share a collection of lists (including decade-specific top 100s). That’s my go-to place for casual writing. This site I think of as my platform for more substantial ruminations. Don’t forget I also have a podcast. (Who doesn’t, right?) I am cohost, editor, and producer for Reel Fanatics, a bi-monthly film pod of conversations between three good friends on all things cinema. We just hit our ten-year anniversary, and we’re still going strong.

All of this is to say that while you won’t find regular updates to this site, I am always active in the world of movies. And if you want to start a dialogue, reach out to me here in the comments, on Lboxd, or on Twitter.
